FAQ

How do I register my child?

If you are interested in having your child at LPS, please call or email the LPS office and speak to the director. If there is an available spot in a class for your child we will be glad to help you through the registration process.

Is there a waiting list?

Yes, there is normally a waiting list for each age group. There is no obligation to attend LPS if your child is on the waiting list; however, it is a good idea to call to put your child on the list. You will be called when a spot is available for your child, you will then have the option of making the decision to attend. To add your child to the waiting list, we will need the child's name, birth date and a contact name and number.

Do the children take naps at LPS?

No, the children do not take naps. School ends at 1:30 p.m. so we send them home to nap.

What about lunch?

Parents should send a lunch to school with their child. We are happy to heat up anything you send in your child's lunch. Please send a spoon or fork if they need one.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes, the first child in the family pays full tuition, but each child thereafter gets a 10% discount on monthly tuition. The full registration fee must be paid for each child.

Will my child play outside?

Yes. We have a wonderful playground area and each class plays outside at least 30 minutes per day. The classes will play in the gym on rainy days.

Is LPS a licensed preschool?

Yes, LPS is licensed by the State of Texas and follows all regulations and policies set by the State of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Do you have drop-off at the door?

Yes, the director or a teacher will be outside each morning to help your child out of the car and into his classroom. In the afternoons the teachers take the children to their car.
